IN FLAMES Bassist: 'It's Been A Great And Productive Year'
December 21, 2006IN FLAMES bassist bassist Peter Iwers has posted the following message in the "Peter's Corner" section of the band's official web site:
"Hey all. Thanks again for a great tour. Had a blast hanging out with the LACUNAs, THE SWORDs and the SEEMLESSes, great people and great bands. Right now I'm on the plane over to Sweden where I'm eager to spend a nice holiday with my family. I bought my daughter a cute little Hello Kitty snowglobe that she would absolutely love, but unfortunately security rules on airports prevents you from bringing snowglobes onboard.... I mean, come on. They wouldn't even provide a way for me to have it sent or anything like that. I appreciate all these security rules because they are there for a reason but sometimes you just gotta relax. I mean, what kind of harm am I supposed to do with that? I have the receipt and the full details from the box of the thing but still she won't be getting that for Christmas, 'cuz they took it...bastards.
"Anyways, it's been a great productive year and I thank you all for that, now you have a great time on your holidays and we'll see you all next year."

"Come Clarity", the highly-influential Swedish band's debut for Ferret Music, took the hard rock community by storm upon its release, debuting at No. 58 on The Billboard 200, with first-week sales of nearly 25,000 copies. The highest-charting record in both the band and label's sales history, "Come Clarity" has sold more than 110,000 copies in the United States to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
