IN FLAMES: December 2009 Concert To Air On Swedish National Radio

April 26, 2010

A professional audio recording of one of IN FLAMES' December 2009 headlining shows in Sweden will be broadcast on P3 Live on Swedish national radio (Sveriges Radio) on Wednesday, April 28 at 20.30 CET.

Guitarist Jesper Strömblad recently quit IN FLAMES in order to continue receiving treatment for his alcohol addiction.

The band spent the last few months touring the world with Strömblad's temporary replacement, Niclas Engelin from the Swedish band ENGEL.

Engelin had helped IN FLAMES on a couple of occasions in the past and is no stranger to the band's songs or the touring life.

IN FLAMES's latest album, "A Sense of Purpose" (2008),shifted 20,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release. This is slightly less than the opening tally of "Come Clarity" (Ferret),which sold just under 24,000 copies in February 2006 to debut at position No. 58.
