IN FLAMES, GARDENIAN Members Team Up In PASSENGER

Sweden's PASSENGER, the new project featuring IN FLAMES vocalist Anders Friden, ex-TRANSPORT LEAGUE drummer Patrik J. Sten, GARDENIAN guitarist Niclas Engelin (ex-IN FLAMES),and HEADPLATE bassist Håkan Skoger, have completed work on their as-yet-untitled debut album at Gothenburg's Studio Fredman.

The band, whose music is being described as "a cross between DEPECHE MODE and ROB ZOMBIE, with a lot of groove and catchy choruses," are currently shopping around for a record deal. An early 2003 release is expected.
