According to Musica Metal, frontman Anders Fridèn announced from the stage that the Milan concert would mark IN FLAMES' last performance in Italy for a long while because they were due to begin work on a new studio album in their hometown of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Halfway through the set, Fridèn invited a fan onstage to sing "Clayman", but when the intro riff ended, the fan didn't know the lyrics to the song and kept headbanging and pulling an embarassed face next to guitarist Björn Gelotte while the crowd started booing and mocking him until he ran offstage. Anders came to the rescue and ended the song, but the audience kept booing the guy right until the start of the following track, "Come Clarity".
