IN FLAMES Interview, 'P3 Guld' Performance To Air On Swedish Radio, TV

IN FLAMES frontman Anders Fridén will be interviewed on Swedish national radio P3 (P3 Rock) Thursday night (Jan. 19) sometime after 10:10 p.m. CET. More information is available at this location.

In other news, IN FLAMES will perform at the "P3 Guld" awards in Gothenburg, Sweden on Saturday (Jan. 21),and the Swedish radio channel P3 will broadcast the ceremony between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. CET. Also, Swedish national TV (SVT 2) will broadcast the gala between 9:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. CET. More information about "P3 Guld" can be found by clicking here.

As previously reported, IN FLAMES' video for the song "Take This Life" has been posted online at Aftonbladet.se. The clip was shot in late October in Sweden with director Patric Ullaeus, who has previously worked with DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL and KAMELOT, among many others. "Take This Life" (mp3) is the roll-out single and video from the group's upcoming album, "Come Clarity", due in North America on February 7 through Ferret Music. The follow-up to the band's 2004 album, "Soundtrack to Your Escape", "Come Clarity" was mixed at Tonteknik studio in Umeå, Sweden and is "the best [CD] we've ever done," according to IN FLAMES guitarist Jesper Strömblad.

IN FLAMES will a launch a North American headlining tour in support of "Come Clarity" on January 25 at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, AZ. The tour will run through February 26 in Lake Buena Vista, FL with support provided by TRIVIUM, DEVILDRIVER and ZAO. The extended trek will represent the first IN FLAMES North American dates since their main-stage appearances as part of Ozzfest 2005 and will kick off the band's most extensive touring on the continent in their decade-plus history.
