IN FLAMES Members Produce DEGRADEAD Debut
December 14, 2007Stockholm, Sweden-based melodic death metallers DEGRADEAD have inked a deal with Dockyard 1 Records. The group's debut album, "Till Death Do Us Apart", is scheduled for release on January 28.
"Til Death Do Us Apart" was recorded at IN FLAMES' IF Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden and was produced by a team calling itself H.O.R.D.E — with IN FLAMES' Björn Gelotte mixing and engineering the CD while Jesper Strömblad (who supposedly called DEGRADEAD "the future of metal") and Daniel Svensson co-engineered the effort. According to a press release, the result is "a piece of finest melodic death metal — finding the perfect balance between death, thrash and catchy melodies, with their already very own signature."
The first two tracks from the upcoming album — "Genetic Waste" and "Take Control" — can be heard on the band's MySpace page.
DEGRADEAD is:
Mikael Sehlin - Vocals
Anders Nyström - Guitar
David Szücs - Guitar
Michel Bärzén - Bass Guitar
Kenneth Helgesson – Drums
