IN FLAMES: 'Our New Album WILL Be Released In The U.S.'

November 26, 2007

Swedish metallers IN FLAMES have issued the following update:

"We have seen that many of you, especially our U.S. fans, are wondering if we are not releasing our new album in North America. All you guys can relax as we will not let you down and the new album WILL be released over there too. Nuclear Blast Records have the right to release our material everywhere except in North America. We are currently working on the U.S. record deal. This should be resolved very shortly. So NO worries, our new album WILL be released in the U.S."

IN FLAMES is currently at the band's own IF Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden working on the follow-up to last year's "Come Clarity". The group is receiving assistance during the vocal-recording sessions from producer Daniel Bergstrand, who previously produced the vocals on "Reroute To Remain", "Soundtrack To Your Escape" and "Come Clarity".

IN FLAMES's new CD is tentatively scheduled for release in April 2008.

A new IN FLAMES track, entitled "Abnegation", is featured on the "Viva La Bands, Vol. 2" album, which was released on September 4 via Ferret Music and Filthy Note Records.
