IN FLAMES: Studio Diary Episode 10 Available

Swedish metallers IN FLAMES are currently at their own IF Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden working on the follow-up to last year's "Come Clarity". All drums have been recorded and IN FLAMES is receiving assistance with the vocals from producer Daniel Bergstrand, who previously produced the vocals on "Reroute To Remain", "Soundtrack To Your Escape" and "Come Clarity".

IN FLAMES has scheduled two dates in Russia in January 2008. The details are as follows:

Jan. 26 - St. Petersburg, RUS - PORT Club
Jan. 27 - Moscow, RUS - B1Maximum

Commented the band: "This is the first time for IN FLAMES in Russia and we are really looking forward to the shows. We have heard from friends in other bands who have recently played there, that is was great so we wanted to try it out and see for ourselves."

A new IN FLAMES track, entitled "Abnegation", is featured on the "Viva La Bands, Vol. 2" album, which was released on September 4 via Ferret Music and Filthy Note Records. The CD features exclusive tracks, written and recorded for the CD/DVD combo from some of Bam's favorite acts like CLUTCH, CKY, CHILDREN OF BODOM, VIKING SKULL and VAINS OF JENNA. A U.S.-exclusive track from SHINY TOY GUNS and music from other faves like GWAR, THE SOUNDS, DIMMU BORGIR and KILL HANNAH also appears on the killer compilation.

IN FLAMES and CHILDREN OF BODOM are in talks to play next year's Gigantour in North America, the tour's organizer, Dave Mustaine of MEGADETH, revealed during an appearance on the "Talking Metal on Fuse" show on Fuse TV this past Friday (November 9). Another act that may be taking part in the trek is the Arizona-based extreme metal group JOB FOR A COWBOY.
