IN THIS MOMENT: New Album Title Announced

July 16, 2008

Los Angeles-based, female-fronted quintet IN THIS MOMENT has completed the recording process for its sophomore album, "The Dream". The album was recorded at a Las Vegas studio with producer Kevin Churko (OZZY OSBOURNE, SHANIA TWAIN) and "showcases the band's songwriting prowess and [singer Maria] Brink's beautiful, angelic voice that is simply captivating," according to a press release.

Commented guitarist Chris Howorth: "We are extremely excited with the results [of the new album recording sessions]. We were all living and recording in the same house and it has been such an awesome experience for us. When we made the last record we spent over a month in New Jersey at a Motel 6, so this place is like the Hilton by comparison. We lived and breathed this record 24 hours a day. We started making demos of our ideas in January while we were still on the road and came to Vegas with 18 song ideas that we have now narrowed down to 12. We went through and picked the best ideas and we even wrote a couple of brand new songs right here in the studio."

He continued, "Our producer, Kevin Churko, has been so amazing to work with. He has pulled the absolute best performance out of every one of us, helping us find the essence of every song and every idea we come up with. We are really excited because there is an undeniable chemistry happening between us and Kevin; all the songs are turning out better than we ever imagined. We've grown so much since our last record and it really shows in the new material. Our main focus has always been to write the best songs we can, and we are really proud of how the new stuff has turned out.

"After [taking part in this year's one-day] Ozzfest and a string of radio festival shows, we will embark on our first official tour for 'The Dream' in September. We are part of a killer package that will be hitting every major city in the U.S. throughout the fall. It feels like such a long time since our last show and we are ready to see our fans again and play some new songs for you. We look forward to seeing you all soon."

IN THIS MOMENT is represented by Mercenary Management, which is headed up by OZZY OSBOURNE/ex-ROB ZOMBIE bassist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson.
