November 17, 2010On November 15, IN THIS MOMENT was joined by male vocalist Adrian Patrick of the band OTHERWISE for an acoustic performance of the song "The Promise" on Santa Rosa, California's 101.7 The Fox radio station inside the "Less Is More Lounge." Watch footage of the band's appearance below.
Guitarist Chris Howorth previously stated about "The Promise", "[The song] is about two people who are very attracted to each other but know deep inside that the relationship will end in disaster with both sides getting hurt.
"We played the song every day on [Rockstar Energy Drink] Mayhem [Festival] this summer. Adrian and his brother followed the whole tour in a mini-van to perform the song with us every day and to further promote their band OTHERWISE. They showed a lot of balls to get out there and hustle like that and take advantage of the opportunity. They have a great band and Adrian has a special voice.
"We are really proud of this song and feel it is one of our best yet."
IN THIS MOMENT's new album, "A Star-Crossed Wasteland", sold 10,500 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 40 on The Billboard 200 chart.
The band's sophomore CD, "The Dream", opened with more than 8,000 copies back in October 2008 to land at No. 70.
"A Star-Crossed Wasteland" was released on July 13 via Century Media Records. The CD was recorded at The Wolves Den studio in Las Vegas, Nevada with producer Kevin Churko (OZZY OSBOURNE, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH).
