INDESTRUCTIBLE NOISE COMMAND: 'God Loves Violence' Video Released

September 19, 2010

"God Loves Violence", the new video from reunited late '80s Connecticut thrashers INDESTRUCTIBLE NOISE COMMAND (I.N.C.),can be viewed below. The song comes off the band's new album, "Bleed The Line", which the group hopes "will propel [I.N.C.] back onto the scene and cause a bit of mayhem when it hits the web this month," according to a press release.

Cited for their ability to work eccentric twists into both their lyrics and their licks, the boys of I.N.C. say they have emerged from their 20-year siesta ready to inject fans with an adrenalin-packed wake up call which they hope will have "a new crop of metal heads begging for mercy."

I.N.C. guitarist and lyricist Erik Barath says a modified lineup and new technology have helped the band crank the volume up even more. Wrapping its signature style around a six-pack of new tracks, the band has achieved an edgier, more brutal sound than the I.N.C. of old.

"One of our goals is to tour this new material harder than we ever got to before," Barath explains. "This music is too good to sit on a shelf somewhere. We're gonna meet our fans head on and shake up the thrash scene in a big way."

"People have been asking for it. We're just giving them what they want," Barath adds. "This isn't your Daddy's I.N.C., I can tell you that. It's 2010 and the new stuff plays like it. The creep factor alone makes it unique; this material definitely has a sick twist to it. The new record is based on the life of German cannibal Armin Meiwes, for God's sakes."

Guitarist Tony Fabrizi and vocalist Dennis Gergely, along with Barath, are carryovers from I.N.C.'s original lineup. Gergely, who recently sang with PAYBACK, says he is ready to unleash his vocal chops in honor of the band's relaunch. Drummer Dennis Leeflang, a former Lita Ford bandmember, is now on board. Bassist Sam Roon, of HUNG, is the band's newest member and Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, of GUNS N' ROSES fame, lays down guitar licks on the song "Rain".

"Dennis Leeflang did the engineering," Barath explains, "so we were able to produce the entire album ourselves — the way we wanted to. People who know our music and people who don't are gonna be equally blown away. There may be a lot riding on this new material, but there's a lot of torque in this engine. If anyone can pull it off, we can."

Barath says the band's new logo, cover art and web presence are also upping the ante.
