INFECTION CODE Prepares To Record New Album

December 9, 2006

Italian noise-makers INFECTION CODE have issued the following update:

"We are finishing the pre-production of [the new INFECTION CODE album] 'Intimacy'. Formally the recording session will start on 25th January at Nadir Studios [in Genova, Italy] and in February the wizard of mixing, Billy Anderson [NEUROSIS, BRUTAL TRUTH, SICK OF IT ALL, MR. BUNGLE], will take care of the master. Probably 'Intimacy' will be out in spring 2007 and meanwhile we are looking for a deal and we're [scheduling] some gigs in Italy, and if it's possible, in Europe. Lyrically, 'Intimacy' is an album full of love. Love towards a failure, towards the hate that a man keeps inside in his heart. A story where a man is ready to die for his feelings close. He love to hate. About the songwriting, 'Intimacy' is complete extreme experimentation with a touch of noise sounds."

The follow-up to 2004's "Sterile", "Intimacy" will contain the following tentative track listing:

01. (E)motionless
02. Bleeding
03. Cold Surface
04. A Perfect Failure
05. Slumber
06. Man and his Silence
07. Heart-Shaped Box
08. Sweet Taste of Sickness

"Sterile" was produced by SADIST mastermind Tommy Talamanca at Nadir Studios in Genova, Italy. Special guests on the album include Trevor (SADIST, THE FAMILI),Nico (CONVICTION) and Serena (NHERO).
