Inquest Into MOTRHEAD Fan's Death Opens

According to Yorkshire Post, an inquest has begun into the death of a MOTRHEAD fan who died following an argument after his friend's hair was set on fire at the band's November 2010 concert at the O2 Academy in Leeds.

Andrew Crawford (pictured below),44, became annoyed after his friend left the show when a fellow concert-goer burnt his hair in a "foolish and childish" act.

Crawford was upset his friend's evening had been ruined and decided to follow the man he believed to be responsible when the gig ended at around 11 p.m.

Crawford and his cousin, Neil Chevill, confronted two men, but the argument turned to violence that left both men unconscious.

Two men were arrested in connection with Crawford's death and are currently on bail, but no charges have been brought against them.
