INSOMNIUM: New Interview, Performance Footage Available

March 7, 2010

Stalkermusic conducted an interview with the guitarists Ville Friman and Ville Vänni of Finnish melodic death metallers INSOMNIUM on January 23, 2010 at Kairo Bar in Kotka, Finland. The eight-minute clip, which can be viewed below, includes exclusive footage from INSOMINUM's last European tour with SWALLOW THE SUN and OMNIUM GATHERUM. (Note: The interview was done in Finnish, but the video includes English subtitles.)

INSOMNIUM's latest album, "Across The Dark", entered the official chart in the band's home country at position No. 5. The CD was recorded at Fantom studio (where the group recorded its 2006 LP, "Above the Weeping World").

An e-card for "Across The Dark", which contains audio samples of three new songs — "Equivalence", "Down With The Sun" and "Where The Last Wave Broke" — is available at this location.

INSOMNIUM's "Down With The Sun" video was directed by Ville Rissanen of Obscure Entertainment.

Check out photos from the video shoot at this location.
