The official video for the song "While We Sleep" from Finnish melodic death metallers INSOMNIUM can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's sixth studio album, "Shadows Of The Dying Sun", which will be released on April 28 in Europe and on April 29 in North America via Century Media Records. All the drums were recorded at studio SF Sound with Kimmo Perkkiö while the rest of the instruments were laid down at studio Korkeakoski with Teemu Aalto. André Alvinzi of Fascination Street Studios took care of the mix, with Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers overseeing the mastering. The artwork was once again created by Wille Naukkarinen.
Comments INSOMNIUM's Ville Friman: "A couple of weeks ago, we travelled to Wroclaw, Poland, to shoot the first music video from 'Shadows Of The Dying Sun'. This time we decided to work with a Polish production company, Grupa 13, whose work includes new BEHEMOTH video, amongst others. The song we chose for the video is called 'While We Sleep'. It's a wistful song with all typical INSOMNIUM elements included — riffs, melodies, aggression, sorrow, grandeur and hope. We shot everything within one day and it was really a pleasure to work with such a professional film group. Everything went smoothly and we are amazed and very happy with the ending result. You really can't complain when the film group provides you vodka schnaps between the takes. We sincerely hope that you'll like the ending result as much as we do."

INSOMNIUM's most recent album, "One For Sorrow", was released in October 2011 in North America via Century Media Records. The CD was recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden with sound engineer Daniel Antonsson (also bassist in DARK TRANQUILLITY and guitarist in DIMENSION ZERO) and at Fantom studios in Tempere, Finland, where the album was also mixed by Samu Oittisen.
