INSTITUTE: Former BUSH Frontman To Release New Album In September
June 30, 2005Billboard.com is reporting that former BUSH frontman Gavin Rossdale will reelase the debut album from his new band, INSTITUTE, on September 13 via Interscope. Entitled "Distort Yourself", the CD features Rossdale alongside guitarist Chris Traynor (BUSH, HELMET),bassist Cache Tolman (RIVAL SCHOOLS) and session drummer extraordinaire Josh Freese (SPLIT LIP/CHAMBERLAIN skinsman Charlie Walker has since been enlisted as the band's touring drummer). First single "Bullet-Proof Skin" will go to U.S. rock radio outlets in August; a video will be shot in the coming weeks by director Rob Cohen, who will feature the song in his upcoming film, "Stealth".
