INTO ETERNITY Forced To Miss Nashville, Milwaukee Dates

September 20, 2006

Guitarist Tim Roth of Canada's progressive metal band INTO ETERNITY, which is currently taking part in the North American installment of Gigantour 2006, has issued the following update:

"So our little bus broke down the other day. We were told it was going to be done this morning, but looks like it’s going to be another day. We're going to miss our Nashville show tonight [Sept. 20] and Milwaukee tomorrow [Sept. 21], Chicago [Sept. 22] should still be on. We're really sorry and want to invite all our fans from Milwaukee to make the drive down to Chicago to see us. Thanks also to everyone who's been checking out our YouTube lessons, we've been sitting around our hotel room reading all your comments, great stuff. Take care and sorry again."

INTO ETERNITY spent Monday, Sept. 11 (a Gigantour 2006 "off" day) filming the video for "Severe Emotional Distress", the first single from its Oct. 3 release, "The Scattering of Ashes". The video follows the song's theme, "cutters" (people who cut themselves),and was shot by Kevin Wildt ("The Warriors", "Set Your Goals"). Wildt reportedly captured the band's vision perfectly. INTO ETERNITY's YouTube guitar lesson #1 won four awards from YouTube, including awards for being in the Top 40 Daily Most Viewed and Top 75 Daily Top Favorites. A new lesson is now posted at the Century Media YouTube page, presented by none other than guitarist/mainman fire fingers Tim Roth, who will teach you how to set your own frets ablaze. Roth herein instructs how to play the scorching solo from "Suspension of Disbelief".

Gigantour attendees can purchase "The Scattering of Ashes" at the FYE merchandise booth for $10.00 pre-sale and get it autographed by the band as well. Pay for the CD and receive the booklet. Attend their scheduled Gigantour autograph session for their signatures, and after Oct 3. redeem your receipt at any FYE for the full copy of the album. "The Scattering of Ashes" is also available for $10.00 preorder at the CM Distrowebpage.
