INTRONAUT: 'Prehistoricisms' Widget Available

August 7, 2008

Progressive titans INTRONAUT are set to unveil their highly anticipated new album, "Prehistoricisms", on September 16. For those who are eagerly awaiting the release, a widget has now been made available below which features two tracks from the album, "Australopithecus" and "The Literal Black Cloud".

"Prehistoricisms", which was heralded as "one of the most anticipated releases of 2008" by Decibel magazine, was engineered by Josh Newell (JANE'S ADDICTION) and "will certainly captivate the metal world with its blend of psychedelic brutality, captivating hooks and unpredictable time changes," according to a press release.

Commented INTRONAUT guitarist/vocalist Sacha Dunable: "I can't even begin to express how excited we are about this record. It's definitely our most densely packed body of work yet. In addition to the standard INTRONAUT angle of attack, we have some surprises including an awesome guest solo from NEGATIVA/GORGUTS guitarist Steeve Hurdle, as well as some truly jaw-dropping moments of Indian/metal fusion courtesy of Joe and Dave. Stoked."

INTRONAUT can currently be seen on the "Ultimate Brodeo Tour" alongside MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT and BEHOLD… THE ARCTOPUS.
