INVOCATOR To Release 'Through The Flesh To The Soul' In October

Reunited Danish thrashers INVOCATOR have set "Through The Flesh To The Soul" as the title for their fourth full-length album, tentatively due in early October through Italy's Scarlet Records.

The CD — the group's first in eight years — features cover artwork by Chad Michael Ward (DARKANE, GRIEF OF EMERALD, etc.) and includes a guest appearance on backing vocals by John and Asmus from SACRIFICIAL and Tommy from SLUGS on the ASSASSIN cover "Abstract War".

INVOCATOR will make their live debut with the group's current lineup — Jacob Hansen (vocals/guitar),Flemming C. Lund (lead guitar),Carsten N. Mikkelsen (bass),and Jakob Gundel (drums) — on Nov. 1 at Aalborg Metal Festival in Denmark. Also scheduled to appear at the event are fellow Danish thrashers HATESPHERE, among other acts.
