IRON MAIDEN Fans Among Passengers In Czech Train Crash

August 8, 2008

AFP reports that a large group of people heading for a concert by British heavy metal band IRON MAIDEN at a Prague football stadium was among the 400 passengers on an express train which crashed on Friday (August 8) into a road bridge in the Czech Republic as it collapsed on to the tracks, killing at least six people and injuring 41.

"Our carriage was full of young people and we were having fun, then there was the crash, chaos. People were dying, they had no legs and arms. I am alive, I have been born again," one woman passenger told the CTK news agency.
