IRON MAIDEN Guitarist JANICK GERS Supports Campaign For Sale Of Handcarved Stone Penis

Andy Walker of The Northern Echo reports that IRON MAIDEN guitarist Janick Gers is backing a campaign to free a four-foot handcarved stone penis from captivity.

Gers yesterday visited the Simply Dutch furniture shop, in Leeming Bar, near Bedale, North Yorkshire, which is at the center of the campaign.

The store and its owner, Jason Hadlow, have been in the public eye since police confiscated the sandstone statue following complaints from members of the public.
