IRON MAIDEN Guitarist's Jaguar For Sale
October 4, 2006The Rock Radio reports that a 1986 Jaguar XJS, once owned by IRON MAIDEN guitarist Adrian Smith, is for sale. Smith joined the heavy metal band in 1980 and has had a major role in the band's success.
Powered by a 5.3-litre V12 which produces 285bhp, the convertible Jag has a top speed of 153mph.
The long-nosed coupe sprints to 60mph in just 6.7 seconds and features a full service history and all the original documentation.
Introduced in 1976 as a replacement for the iconic E-Type, the XJS was manufactured until 1996, before being replaced the following year by the XK8.
