IRON MAIDEN Guitarist's Jaguar For Sale

The Rock Radio reports that a 1986 Jaguar XJS, once owned by IRON MAIDEN guitarist Adrian Smith, is for sale. Smith joined the heavy metal band in 1980 and has had a major role in the band's success.

The long-nosed coupe sprints to 60mph in just 6.7 seconds and features a full service history and all the original documentation.

Introduced in 1976 as a replacement for the iconic E-Type, the XJS was manufactured until 1996, before being replaced the following year by the XK8.

The advertisment reads as follows:

79,000 miles, Rare V12 XJ-SC Cabriolet 2+2. Metallic silver blue with blue leather, new Pirelli P4000 tyres 1,000 miles ago, full service history and original documentation, celebrity previous owner, no expense spared with invoices, hardtop and new 400 GBP custom car cover included. Price: 5,500 GBP (about $10,000)
