IRON MAIDEN: Melbourne Show Sells Out In 25 Minutes

Paul Cashmere of Australia's Undercover News reports: Following IRON MAIDEN's rapid sell-out within 25 minutes in Melbourne this morning (September 27),Sydney was also quick to respond with a sell-out show at Acer Arena within an hour.

Promoter Paul Dainty said, "Sales have been phenomenal. Ticketek advised me this morning that the queues have been the longest at their ticket outlets for any on-sale for ages."

Sydney will likewise now have a second show on Sunday, February 10.

According to Dainty, the second shows for Sydney and Melbourne will definitely be the last of the IRON MAIDEN shows added to the Australian tour because of limited time in the country.

The Somewhere Back In Time World Tour 2008 will see IRON MAIDEN perform major concerts in 20 selected cities on five continents in seven weeks including India, Japan, North America, Central and South America, and, of course, Australia.

Feb. 06 - Rod Laver Arena - Melbourne, Australia
