IRON MAIDEN: Mexico City Concert Gets An Upgrade
December 21, 2007Due to "overwhelming demand," IRON MAIDEN's February 24, 2008 concert in Mexico City has been moved from the 22,000-capacity Sports Arena to the much-larger Foro Sol Stadium. This is a multi-facility venue, being the home of the Mexico City Devils (baseball) and also the site of very important car-race events like NASCAR and Champ Car.
On February 5, 2008 MAIDEN will release the highly anticipated DVD of "Live after Death" and to tie in with this will play songs mainly from their classic '80s albums on this forthcoming tour. The stage production will also feature a production-based on the Egyptian-themed "Powerslave Tour" which was featured on the original 1985 video release of "Live after Death".
