IRON MAIDEN's Appearance At Sarnia's ROGERS BAYFEST Drawing Worldwide Interest

March 6, 2012

According to TheObersver.ca, IRON MAIDEN's appearance at the annual Rogers Bayfest in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada on July 14 has resulted in ticket requests from fans all over the world, including one fan in Norway who was worried he couldn't get tickets to the band's Sarnia show. The Norwegian fan will pick up his tickets when he arrives in town, after a 6,000-kilometer trip. Other ticket orders have come in from Finland, Scotland, and across North America.

"It's so widespread," Chrissy Taylor, from Bayfest corporate sales and sponsorship, said. "I know we've had (international orders) before, but I don't think from this far away."

"People will just phone the office and tell us how great [IRON MAIDEN] are live," said Bayfest co-founder Michele Stokley.

Nearly half the VIP passes for IRON MAIDEN and ALICE COOPER have been sold so far.

The event's full lineup will be announced on March 27, and all tickets go on sale March 30.
