IRON MAIDEN's DICKINSON 'Likely' To Perform Solo Material During TRIBUZY Appearance
November 10, 2005According to a posting on the official IRON MAIDEN web site, MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson is "likely" to perform songs from his own repertoire during a guest appearance with the TRIBUZY project in Brazil this weekend.
Bruce met Brazilian musician Renato Tribuzy a few years back and was very impressed with his music. They became friends and Bruce contributed vocals on a song on Renato's album. On this trip, Bruce will sing on this song backed by his mates Roy Z and Chris Dale, both of whom he has played a lot with in the past. Also involved in the project are Roland Grapow (MASTERPLAN, ex-HELLOWEEN),Mat Sinner (SINNER, PRIMAL FEAR),Ralf Scheepers (PRIMAL FEAR),Kiko Loureiro (ANGRA) and Andreas Kisser (SEPULTURA). The dates are as follows:
Nov. 11 - São Paulo, BRA - Credicard Hall
Nov. 12 - São Paulo, BRA - Credicard Hall
Nov. 13 - Belo Horizonte, BRA - Chevrolet Hall
The support act for the concerts will be JEFF SCOTT SOTTO (SOUL SIRKUS, ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN).
