IRON MAIDEN's DICKINSON Sits Behind The Kit For AC/DC, DEEP PURPLE Classics

November 14, 2005

IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson made his final guest appearance with the TRIBUZY project (led by Brazilian musician Renato Tribuzy) at the third of three scheduled dates in Brazil on Sunday (Nov. 13) at the Chevrolet Hall in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The following report was submitted to BLABBERMOUTH.NET by Thiago Sarkis of the Brazilian rock/heavy metal magazine Whiplash.net:

"Fortunately they were not recording the DVD here, so the musicians felt completely relaxed to do whatever they wanted.

"Everything was normal, following the script, with almost the same set list in São Paulo, until they concluded [MAIDEN's] 'The Evil That Men Do'. At that moment, there were like 15 to 20 girls leftwards and they all joined Bruce Dickinson on stage to sing 'Bring Your Daughter... To The Slaughter'. What a hell of a great moment, and a huge party. After that, no one was able to control the whole thing and it seemed like they would never leave the stage, but obviously they did.

"Back to the encore: Kiko Loureiro [ANGRA], Roland Grapow [MASTERPLAN, ex-HELLOWEEN], Mat Sinner [PRIMAL FEAR], Ralf Scheepers [PRIMAL FEAR], Roy Z [BRUCE DICKINSON, HALFORD], Renato Tribuzy, Chris Dale [BRUCE DICKINSON] were all there when Bruce took the drumsticks and played AC/DC's 'Highway to Hell', DEEP PURPLE's 'Black Night' and 'Smoke on the Water' (all of them with Scheepers on lead vocals)."
