IRON MAIDEN, SAMSON Rarities Create Online Stir

September 19, 2007

According to PR-GB.com, Eil.com — the world's leading provider of rare music and music memorabilia — today unveiled its latest acquisition in the shape of two seven-inch pieces of vinyl.

The records in question are fully autographed original issues of "Running Free" by the first incarnation of IRON MAIDEN and "Mr. Rock & Roll" by the now legendary SAMSON. These two singles formed the cornerstones of what became known as the New Wave of British Heavy Metal

Eil.com's IRON MAIDEN guru Stephen Borkowski commented: "MAIDEN are the most collectable of all the metal bands and have been a perennial best seller for us for the past decade. To find a fully autographed piece by the original line-up in such great condition is a real find for us and has really excited our MAIDEN customers."

Stephen continued, "This is an amazing set when you consider the small amount of time the MAIDEN lineup was together. The SAMSON record which is just as rare as the MAIDEN single features the late and much missed talents of Chris Aylmer and band leader Paul Samson and is a much over-looked and underrated piece of British rock."
