IRON MAIDEN Trio Join DEEP PURPLE During London Gig

Three members of IRON MAIDEN — drummer Nicko McBrain, guitarist Janick Gers, and vocalist Bruce Dickinson — joined DEEP PURPLE on stage during the latter's concert at London's Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday, September 7th for a rendition of the DP classic "Smoke On The Water" (with McBrain handling congas and DP drummer Ian Paice's cymbals, apparently).
