IRON MAIDEN's 'Eddie's Dive Bar' Pre-Show Events Are Coming To The U.S.

September 3, 2026

The U.S. leg of IRON MAIDEN's "Run For Your Lives" world tour kicks off on September 5 in New Jersey, and with it comes the first Eddie's Dive Bar experiences to happen Stateside. Overseas, these meetups offer passionate IRON MAIDEN fans a chance to "Up The Irons" and raise a pint before IRON MAIDEN takes the stage later that day. The events are open to the public, regardless of if someone is a ticket holder for an upcoming show or not.

For U.S. fans, these events will have something extra: one of the best opportunities to experience the new Trooper West Coast IPA, the limited-edition collaboration between IRON MAIDEN's Trooper beer brand and IPA pioneer Lagunitas Brewing Company.

Released in July, Trooper West Coast IPA is the first-ever West Coast IPA under the Trooper label crafted with the newly discovered Krush hop variety, this IPA delivers a pungent, resinous, and unmistakably West Coast profile. At 6.6% ABV, the beer offers a slightly elevated strength that strikes the perfect balance between intensity and drinkability, appealing to hop enthusiasts and casual craft beer fans alike.

While Trooper West Coast IPA continues to sell quickly at retail, fans can still enjoy it at participating retailers, select bars and, most notably, at Eddie's Dive Bar venues. These first-ever U.S. events offer the most authentic way to experience the beer: alongside fellow MAIDEN fans, exclusive merch, and the energy of IRON MAIDEN's return to America.

Enter The Beer Roadie: IRON MAIDEN fans heading to the New York and Los Angeles Eddie's Dive Bars will have an added bonus of having their Trooper poured by IRON MAIDEN superfan and Lagunitas' first-ever Beer Roadie Lara Mirinjian.

Earlier this year, Lagunitas held a nationwide contest to find their first-ever Beer Roadie, a one-of-a-kind role created to celebrate the intersection of great beer, great music, and the communities that form around both. The position was designed to find someone who embodies the idea that life is a lot more fun when you're unapologetically yourself. Lara stood out among hundreds of applicants to secure this paid position, earning the chance to help bring the Eddie's Dive Bar experience to life around the country.

Lara has a unique story to tell, but also very relatable. The Long Beach, California piano teacher Lara's journey into metal and IRON MAIDEN began when her father, an Armenian immigrant from Iran, passed away when she was 14. Her older brother began driving Lara to school, playing metal almost every day. That's when Lara found solace in the metal community, along with an unbridled love of IRON MAIDEN.
