November 11, 2004

Dutch death/grindcore band ISLE OF MAN have signed a distribution-and-promotion deal with Garden of Exile Records. The five tracks the band recorded last year will be released by the end of November 2004 under the title "Breathe Plastic". In addition to the five tracks, the disc will contain a video for the song "Pig Roast".

Formed in the summer of 2002, ISLE OF MAN are influenced by extreme death metal, noise, math and hardcore bands, including such groundbreaking bands such as THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, CRYPTOPSY and more hardcore-oriented groups such as POISON THE WELL and MARTYR AD to the all-time metal classics like METALLICA, SLAYER, SUFFOCATION and IRON MAIDEN.

"Breathe Plastic" was recorded in early 2004 at the Excess Studios in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, where bands like SINISTER, PYEAMIA and HOUWITSER also recorded their material. The songs featured on the CD are "Memphis Tennessee", "Daddy I Want to be a Rockstar", "24-Hour Armed Response", "Pigroast" and "She Was a…" The latter cut will also appear on the soundtrack of the Dutch horror-splatter movie called "Horizonica".
