Israel's BETZEFER Working With DOWN Producer

May 20, 2008

Israeli metallers BETZEFER have tapped Warren Riker (DOWN, CYNIC, LAURYN HILL, SANTANA) to produce their new album, titled "Freedom to the Slave Makers".

BETZEFER's video for the song "Running Against" can be viewed below. The track comes off the group's debut album, "Down Low", which was released in 2005 via Roadrunner Records (BETZEFER has since parted ways with the label). The band's energetic brand of metal is being described as a mixture of SEPULTURA and PANTERA and is said to be "packed with aggression."

Prior to issuing "Down Low" through Roadrunner, BETZEFER released three EPs: "Pitz Aachbar" (2000),"Some Tits, But No Bush" (2001) and "New Hate" (2003).
