Israel's DMA To Record Debut Album With ROLF MUNKES
April 26, 2007Israeli alternative metal band DMA has signed a production deal with German producer/guitar virtuozo Rolf Munkes (RAZORBACK, EMPIRE). The group will record its first full-length album this May at Empire Studios in Germany.
Formed in 2003, DMA — which stands for "Direct Memory Access" — describes its sound as "beefy guitar riffs that penetrate your mind and there's nothing you can do about it, powered by the groove generated by drums and bass, and gently flavored with rich vocal melodies." The band's influences include TOOL, INCUBUS, A PERFECT CIRCLE, SLIPKNOT and MUDVAYNE.
