Israeli Metal Model ANGEL OGASTA To Appear In Reality TV Show 'The Models'

January 22, 2005

Israeli "metal model producer and journalist" Angel Ogasta (photos) has been selected to appear in Israel's version of the "America's Next Top Model" show, called simply "The Models" ("A Dugmaniyot" in Hebrew).

Ogasta, 20, who starred in ANCIENT's "Night Visit" video (ZIP file, Launch) and was featured on several album covers and DVDs, was reportedly chosen from thousands of applicants to appear in the program, which will follow 16 models as they live together in a house learn all-important skills such as strutting the catwalk and striking a pose. In addition, they will be subjected to rigorous challenges along the way, with one model being eliminated every couple of days for failing to complete their mission successfully. The show, which is said to be a million-dollar production, will premiere on Israel's Channel 10 on February 7.
