IT DIES TODAY Announces New Singer, Prepares For PAPA ROACH Tour

January 17, 2007

Trustkill recording artists IT DIES TODAY have announced that they have parted ways with vocalist Nick Brooks. Starting with the upcoming PAPA ROACH tour to begin next week, Jason Wood will take the microphone as a full-time member of the band.

Brooks issued the following statement regarding his split with the band: "The last six years have been incredible and I've seen and done more things than I ever thought were possible with this band. I also met so many amazing people along the way and I want to thank all of the fans for being so supportive — you guys made this all worthwhile.

"I've decided to leave the band because that is what is best for everyone at the moment. I will miss everyone, but be sure that you will be hearing from me again. I have a new band called QUEEN CITY STATION and we should be recording sometime this spring."

Guitarist Mike Hatalak commented: "The band would like to send Nick our best wishes with his new project and we will always treasure the hard work and music we have created with him. Taking over will be Jason Wood, whom we first met while he was filling in on bass with STILL REMAINS."

Jason added: "I was privileged to be on tour with IT DIES TODAY this summer while playing with STILL REMAINS. Those weeks gave me a chance to see how hard they work on a regular basis and how much they care about their fans and music."

IT DIES TODAY will support PAPA ROACH on a North American tour starting on January 23. They are continuing to promote their recently released sophomore album, "Sirens",
