It's Official: ONE MINUTE SILENCE Part Ways With V2 Records

January 25, 2002

ONE MINUTE SILENCE manager Andy Farrow of Northern Music has confirmed to BLABBERMOUTH.NET that the band have in fact officially parted ways with V2 Records and are presently seeking a new record deal (as exclusively reported here on January 22nd). According to Farrow, “the band's option for their third album was picked up ages ago by V2 then there was a change in President and we were left hanging around for ages so we have agreed to leave the company subject to a severance agreement that has just been signed. There is plenty of interest in OMS from several US labels and the band have [recorded demos for] a major in the UK.” At the moment, the group is shopping a three-song demo that was recorded at The Fallout Shelter Studios in London during December. The tracks on the offer are as follows:

01. Fistful Of Nothing
02. Into Our Own
03. The Way Back
