JACK BLADES Signs Solo Deal With FRONTIERS RECORDS

March 7, 2003

Jack Blades, frontman, bassist, lead singer and songwriter for such million-selling rock bands as NIGHT RANGER and DAMN YANKEES, has secured a home for his highly anticipated solo debut with Frontiers Records, signing a deal for European and Asian territories.

"I am so excited about having this opportunity to do my own record after 20 years in bands and writing songs for so many other people. Now it's my turn!" says Jack, who recently met with Frontiers Records executives Serafino Perugino and Mario de Riso in Paris, France.

As of now, there is no album title chosen yet: "I always see how the music flows first and then I title the CD" says Jack, who has already secured "help" in the songwriting department with friends Neal Schon (JOURNEY) and Tommy Shaw (STYX, DAMN YANKEES). But, in Jack's words: "When I begin recording I'll call in lots of friends...it's gonna be fun!"

Jack, who has co-written songs for such superstars as AEROSMITH, OZZY OSBORNE, ALICE COOPER, CHER (just to name a few) is right now finishing up the writing with several songs already completed and described as straight ahead rock, with lots of melodies in "typical Jack Blades" style.

Jack plans to start recording in his studio in Northern California in a couple of months and hopes to have the CD finished by early summer for a release tentatively scheduled for the end of this year.
