JACK STARR'S BURNING STARR: 'Defiance' Samples Posted Online

Guitarist Jack Starr (VIRGIN STEELE, DEVIL CHILDE, PHANTOM LORD, GUARDIANS OF THE FLAME) has just released the new BURNING STARR CD, "Defiance", via Magic Circle Music, the record label owned by members of MANOWAR. Produced by Joey DeMaio of MANOWAR, the album includes such tracks as "Black Clouds Of Thanos", "The Beast Inside" and the title track, "Defiance". According to a press release, "Starr took the formula to another level with this creation. He injected international flavor drawing from the musical spices of many countries and musically intox icating listeners with this unique blend. 'Defiance' is proof positive that Jack Starr has not only written metal history, but is blazing a new path right into its future."

BURNING STARR will premiere some of the material from the forthcoming LP at the third installment of the Magic Circle Festival, scheduled to take place at the Loreley on the Rhine River in Germany on July 18, 2009.

Joining Jack Starr in the band's current lineup are Ned Meloni (DEVIL CHILDE, PHANTOM LORD, GHOST, GUARDIANS OF THE FLAME) on bass and Todd Michael Hall (HARLET) on vocals.
