JAKE E. LEE: More Music Posted Online

December 24, 2002

Another previously unreleased solo idea by former OZZY OSBOURNE/BADLANDS guitarist Jake E. Lee — dubbed "FlatTop" — has been posted online via his official fan site at this location. According to a message on the site, "this is a very raw Jake doodle that just happened when he was playing around with the guitar, amp, EQ, compressor... etc settings just trying to get a certain tone - which explains a few of the quirky timings. He never meant it to become anything - and in fact gave up on looking for that for that tone - but left the doodle on the hard drive. A week or so latter he went to listen to it before deleting it and decided that there was something about it that he liked so it lives on!"
