JANE'S ADDICTION: 'Irresistible Force' Video Released

"Irresistible Force", the new video from alternative rock pioneers JANE'S ADDICTION, can be seen below. The swirling, moody and epic composition is taken from the band's anticipated new album "The Great Escape Artist", now set for release on October 4.

For "The Great Escape Artist", JANE'S ADDICTION joined forces with producer Rich Costey (MUSE, FRANZ FERDINAND, INTERPOL),with TV ON THE RADIO's Dave Sitek on the team. Sitek, best known for his production work on TV ON THE RADIO, YEAH YEAH YEAHS and THE FOALS, is writing, programming, and playing bass on the album. The band, with Chris Chaney on bass, will be touring throughout 2011.

JANE'S ADDICTION recently teamed up with Indaba Music to create a remix contest around "Irresistible Force".

Indaba Music's worldwide network of musicians have the opportunity to remix "Irresistible Force" by downloading the track's audio stems, and uploading their unique remix submissions to the JANE'S ADDICTION contest page. Fans are also able to vote on their favorite submissions through the contest page, and through the official JANE'S ADDICTIONFacebook page.

One grand prize winner will win $1,000.00, and their remix will be digitally released by EMI Music. 10 Honorable Mentions will win a signed copy of "The Great Escape Artist", and a signed poster of the band.
