JANI LANE: 'I Don't Give A S**t What You Call Me, But I *Am* WARRANT'

June 1, 2009

Fan-filmed video footage of former WARRANT singer Jani Lane's May 30, 2009 performance at the M3 Rock Festival at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland can be viewed below. At the conclusion of the final song of Lane's set', "Cherry Pie", he can be heard telling the audience, I don't give a shit what you call me, but I amWARRANT."

Lane's new solo band consists of the following musicians:

Jani Lane (WARRANT) - Vocals
Keri Kelli (ALICE COOPER, SLASH'S SNAKEPIT)- Guitar
James Kottak (SCORPIONS, KINGDOM COME) - Drums
Kevin Baldes (LIT) - Bass
Shawn Zavodney (WARRANT) - Keyboards, Backing Vocals

WARRANT announced in September 2008 that it was splitting with Jani Lane six months after it first reunited with the troubled vocalist. "From the beginning of our reunion talks to the last note of our last show together in Houston [on August 31 at the Rock The Bayou festival], we have had nothing but good intentions of bringing a quality original WARRANT show to our fans and friends," the band explained in a statement. He has since been replaced by Robert Mason (LYNCH MOB, CRY OF LOVE, BIG COCK).
