JASON BONHAM's LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE To Hit The Road

April 29, 2010

According to a posting on the LED ZEPPELIN fan site LedZeppelinNews.com, drummer Jason Bonham (BONHAM, LED ZEPPELIN, FOREIGNER) will announce his participation with a concert tour that will tell the story of LED ZEPPELIN from start to finish.

LedZeppelinNews.com has learned that the drummer is planning to tour the U.S. and Canada later this year under the moniker JASON BONHAM'S LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE.

The tour is said to feature Bonham on drums along with other professional musicians. Each show will include an elaborate video screen onstage to make the LED ZEPPELIN story come alive.

It is not presently clear how this will affect the touring plans by the recently formed supergroup consisting of Bonham, guitarist Joe Bonamassa, Glenn Hughes (ex-DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (ALICE COOPER, DREAM THEATER, BILLY IDOL). The band's debut album was recently completed and is tentatively due in September.
