JASON NEWSTED: Video Interview Posted Online

A video interview with former METALLICA and current VOIVOD/SUPERNOVA bassist Jason Newsted, conducted a couple of motnhs ago in San Francisco during the auditions for the "Rock Star: Supernova" program, has been posted online at RealityCheckTV.com.

SUPERNOVA — the new all-star band featuring Newsted, MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee and former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Gilby Clarke — will embark on a North American tour in early January. The band will release it self-titled debut album on November 21. The CD, which is being produced by Butch Walker (AVRIL LAVIGNE, BOWLING FOR SOUP, PINK),can currently be pre-ordered through the official SUPERNOVAstore. If you pre-order the album, you will receive a free bonus collector's edition DVD which features audition interview footage with the 15 finalists — not available anywhere else. Unfortunately this pre-order is available to United States residents only.

SUPERNOVA is using the "Rock Star" TV program to search for a lead singer from a pool of 15 contestants selected in auditions around the world.
