JEFF SCOTT SOTO: Solo CD Details Revealed

March 21, 2002

Former YNGWIE MALMSTEEN and current TALISMAN/HUMANIMAL frontman Jeff Scott Soto is currently busy demoing and writing songs for his second solo album, which has the working title of The Calm Before The Storm. Among the songs that are tentatively set to appear on the album are "Till The End Of Our Time", "How Long", "Heaven Knows", "By Your Side", "I Wanna Take You Higher" (duet with ex-DEEP PURPLE/BLACK SABBATH singer Glenn Hughes) and "Holdin' On". The sound style is expected to please all the die-hard melodic rock fans of bands like JOURNEY, FOREIGNER and SURVIVOR, with some new hints and twists. Jeff will begin recording the album in June/July for a late 2002 release through Frontiers/Now & Then Records.
