JEFF SCOTT SOTO To Embark On First Full European Tour In Four Years

November 29, 2012

Legendary hard rock vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, TALISMAN, JOURNEY) will embark on his first full European tour in four years in April 2003. Although the trek has been in the planning for months, the singer's organization is only now ready to release the outline of what promises to be a stunning road trip right around Europe.

Jeff will be touring with the most recent band lineup — Jorge Salán (guitar),Fernando Mainer (bass),Luis Paulo "BJ" Almeida Jr. (guitar, keyboards and vocals) and Edu Cominato (drums, vocals) — and will be showcasing his current solo album, "Damage Control", as well as tracks from across his solo and frontman roles right across his outstanding career.

To add to the excitement of this particular tour, the majority of dates will be supported by none other than his guitarist Jorge Salán's solo trio as well as an exciting new band from Athens, Greece called DANGER ANGEL.

Soto recorded vocals to one of Salán’s songs on the "Chronicles Of An Evolution" album back in 2007, which is what led to bringing him into Jeff's band, and Jorge’s newest album, "Sexto Asalto" (Sixth Assault) will be available, along with his other releases, at each show.

DANGER ANGEL came to Jeff's attention back in 2009 when he was asked to participate on a track for their 2010 debut album. The band parted ways with their vocalist and brought in a more prominent vocalist named Minas Tsigos to help them find a new direction and focus, recruiting Soto to produce their follow-up album, "Revolutia", of which Jeff was "beyond proud to be a part." Jeff also sings most of the backing vocals on the album as well as sharing some lead vocals on the single "When I'm Gone".

It is with great pride that Jeff is "presenting" these two acts as a sort of "Soto-palooza" roadshow in which he implores "everyone to be on time for a great night of music and many surprises throughout the show. It will be an evening of great rock and roll, fun and memories, so get there at the time the venues say to get there!!"

In other news, Frontiers Records will release the third and final video from Soto's "Damage Control" album on November 30. The song "NeverEnding War" was written by Soto and Joel Hoekstra (NIGHT RANGER) and features Jeff's son, Jason, and stepdaughter, Grace.
