JERK Split With Singer, Seek Replacement
March 21, 2004Sydney, Australia-based hard/electronic rock outfit JERK today announced the departure of vocalist Johnathan Devoy.
A band spokesperson issued the following statement: "We had a great time with John, but regrettably started heading in different directions. The split is an amicable one and by mutual agreement. We wish John all the best and hope to bring JERK back as soon as possible".
JERK are in the process of recruiting a new vocalist and are currently working on material for a new album as well as preparing for an assault on the U.K. and Europe later in the year.
The group's debut album, "When Pure Is Defiled" (Sony Music Australia),is in stores now. Audio samples from the CD can be heard at this location.
