JERSEY DOGS: Live EP Due In February

January 10, 2010

JERSEY DOGS, the late '80s band formed by the ex-ATTACKER members Lou Ciarlo and Mike Sabatini, will release a digital EP, "Live @ Streets", on February 16. The EP was recorded at Streets in New Rochelle, New York on Febuary 3, 1990 during the group's "Hope We Go On Tour Tour 89/90" as the support act for BIOHAZARD.

A full track listing for the EP will be released in the coming weeks.

JERSEY DOGS' cover version of AC/DC's classic "Dirty Deeds", which was recorded during that evening's performance but will not be featured on the upcoming EP, is available for free download at this location. It can also be streamed using the audio player below.

According to the BNR Metal Pages, "Unlike the more traditional metal of ATTACKER, the DOGS were a standard turn-of-the-decade thrash band, not really offering much new at the time. The band disappeared soon after 'Thrash Ranch', with Sabatini and guitarist Mike Benetados resurfacing in the reformed ATTACKER a decade later."

Video footage of JERSEY DOGS performing live in 1990 can be viewed below.
