JIMI HENDRIX Among Music City Walk of Fame Inductees

According to Great American Country, Jimi Hendrix has been announced has part of the third class of inductees to the Music City Walk of Fame.

Hendrix and five other honorees will be recognized with the unveiling of commemorative sidewalk markers on Monday, November 5, at 3 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Park in downtown Nashville. The induction ceremony, which is sponsored by GAC, is free and open to the public.

Jimi Hendrix, who holds the No. 1 spot on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of all time first began performing professionally on a regular basis in 1962 after moving to Nashville, where he honed his craft in clubs on Jefferson Street and Printer's Alley.
