JIMI HENDRIX Gets 'Punk'd' By DEAD KENNEDYS Drummer

DEAD KENNEDYS drummer D.H. Peligro (ex-RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, NAILBOMB, SSI) will release a "punk" version of the JIMI HENDRIX classic "Purple Haze" this fall through the Los Angeles-based record label Dirrty Records. "Jimi Hendrix's company Experience Hendrix heard the remake and loved it," said Dirrty Records founder Lunden De'Leon. "DH Peligro recently toured South America performing for more than 50,000 fans so now people worldwide are requesting it." More information will be made available soon.
