JIMI HENDRIX Gets 'Punk'd' By DEAD KENNEDYS Drummer

DEAD KENNEDYS drummer D.H. Peligro (ex-RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, NAILBOMB, SSI) will release a "punk" version of the JIMI HENDRIX classic "Purple Haze" this fall through the Los Angeles-based record label Dirrty Records. "Jimi Hendrix's company Experience Hendrix heard the remake and loved it," said Dirrty Records founder Lunden De'Leon.
