JOE LYNN TURNER Featured In Norwegian 'Street Of Dreams' Documentary

November 8, 2012

Legendary singer Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) stars in the documentary "Street Of Dreams: Without A Dream In Your Heart, What The Hell Is There?"

Jan Erling Holberg is a bass guitar player from a small town in Norway. He just turned 47 years, but his childhood dream of becoming a rock star has not faded away. After going through a major depression, now is his time to give the dream a chance.

With the help of his longtime hero and musical inspiration, Joe Lynn Turner, he sets out to record an album and embark on a tour across Norway. Will his biggest dream finally come true, or is it too late to become a star?

Joe Lynn Turner already knows the taste of success, after having played with bands like RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN. He has been in the spotlight since the early '70s. Even though the musical scene has changed since then, he should be able to provide a trick or two to the novice Jan Erling Holberg.

Filmed between January 2011 and August 2012, "Street OF Dreams" will be screened on the Norwegian national broadcaster NRK, and has already been selected for the Trondheim Dokumentar Festival. A special DVD is expected in March 2013 for worldwide release.
